Cross Training with Ms. Jillian Update Week 3

Week 3 is almost complete for my Jillian Michaels Body Revolution program.  The awesome thing is I am definitely feeling stronger and things are toning up.  Both these things are good and exciting.  I am down about a pound and a half.  Remember I am not doing this for serious weight loss but cross/strength training.  The thing that really makes me happy is that my measurements are shrinking and changing.  Now that’s what I’m talking about!

As an added bonus I took a run with Mr. Cutesie this morning and I can honestly say it was the first time I truly noticed a change as far as my running goes.  My overall pace was something I can be proud of (not necessarily fast, but steady).  That’s not always the case with the extra 40+ pounds of the kid/jogging stroller combo along for the ride.  More amazingly to me is that my core felt strong and everything just felt “right”.  Do you know what I mean?  I am loving this new feeling of strength again.  I can honestly say I found MY happy pace today.  Its something we all strive for isn’t it, but we don’t always achieve.  Today I did it and for that I am a happy momma.
