Sunday’s Christmas “Inspiration for Your Perspiration”

on December 23, 2012

“Joy to the World, the Lord is come.  Let earth receive her king!”

I am so happy to celebrate the biggest birthday of the year all time!  The birth of a tiny baby,

sent from the Father himself, who was born to save the world from sin and death.

Matthew 1:21
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.

”Halelujia!  Go tell it from the mountain, over the hills and everywhere

Jesus Christ is born!

I pray especially today for those that lost loved ones in CT, or at anytime this past year.

I pray for the sick and the lonely.  The homeless and the forgotten.  I pray for those who don’t believe and even those that do.

I believe with all my heart that Jesus hears both our cries and our praise.  The He holds each teardrop we shed in the palm of His hand.  I imagine that our tears shed this past year have built both majestic waterfalls and rainbows that await us back at our true “home” in heaven with the Father

May we enjoy this special time with our family and friends.  Let your heart be light and full with the grace and love that God shows to us each and every day.  Like the bright star that led the wise men to Jesus I pray that the light which you hold within you, that of the Holy Spirit, shine ever more brightly each day for all the world to see.

Matthew 5:14
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Even in this broken and foolish world, let this Christmas remind us once again that this tiny, innocent babe has come

to save us.  Amen

Merry Christmas to you all and Happy Birthday Jesus.

Would love to hear from you!
