Run Find your Happy Pace 1000+ FB Likes Giveaway!

When I started this blog and Facebook page I never thought about having more followers than my family and a few friends.  So you can imagine my surprise as my Facebook page grew to 200 likes, then 400 etc.  But 1,000+?  That’s just crazy.

I appreciate all the support and friends I have made along the way.  I am grateful to Alyse and Jamie at Fit Approach and Laura at Girls Gone Sporty for allowing me to be ambassadors with them.  I am POSITIVE I could not have done it without the support of both those communities.  I am thankful to all the companies that have allowed me to work with them in the past.

I am especially grateful to Susan at Runner Decals who was the very first one that approached me for a giveaway.  She believed in me when I had a very, very small following and now I am glad to call her friend.  This giveaway wouldn’t be complete without including Runner Decals so thank you Susan once again!  Also thanks to my partner in Happiness Cara at Running Happy for putting up with my crazy ideas on a regular basis.

As you guys know I am not super fast, I have never placed in a race and probably never will…. I’m just me and that’s exactly who God meant me to be.

I DO however believe that:

  • everyone can be their own personal best
  • that the 1st place finisher is just as important as the last one and everyone in between
  • that miles are miles and we all cover the same distance, just at our own “Happy Pace”
  • finding my happy pace in running and life is really what is important

My hope is:

  • this page and blog provide positive support and information to each other
  • that every accomplishment you make (in running and life) be celebrated
  • when I leave this world that I have made a positive difference
  • that there are cupcakes in heaven 😉

    Congratulations on 1000 likes! That is amazing, I cannot even fathom it (I think I have 14 followers on my blog! LOL) I hope all your hopes and wishes come true, I know it’s VERY inspiring for me because I’m not fast and it encourages me to be MY best, not someone else’s best!

    Favorite flavor of cupcake?!?!? How can you choose?? I would say chocolate, simple but true! And then I have to run and run some more 🙂 congrats on 1000 fans!!! I am happy to be one 🙂

      I literally RUN for cupcakes. There is a local shop that has 1/2 the fat, 1/2 the calories, and ALL the taste type of cupcakes. They are so good! This is my treat once a month. LOL

  7. Congratulations! I just love your page and I think you are a GREAT role model and inspiration! I sweat by coaching softball, running, and getting in bike rides and other workouts. My favorite cupcake flavor is CHOCOLATE with CHOCOLATE frosting!

    I love this post. Speed should only matter to you, and while I love to beat my times (I am competitive), I understand that running and my pace do not define me. Congrats on your blog/facebook success!

    My favorite way to sweatpink is either a group run with my MRTT gals or a stroller strides class! My favorite cupcake flavor is vegan chocolate! YUMMMMM!

  15. My favorite cupcake flavor is yellow cupcake with white buttercream icing. It’s all about the icing. And my favorite way to earn my cupcake without any guilt is running!

    Congrats to you !! You are so motivating all the time! so glad I found your page!! You have a great page all in all!! I am also a SSP sister!! So cool , so fur sure I Sweat by wearing pink!! Running, Biking and Bootcamp, really all exercises. Im always mixing it up!! My favorite cupcake would be a lemon one with leom cream chees frosting. 🙂 Thank you ! 🙂

    Congrats on the milestone! I love your beliefs about running. I totally feel the same way – running is totally an individual sport with the support of the masses. Each runner is important and none better than another because it’s all about what running gives back to the individual!

    My favorite way to #sweatpink is running (if you haven’t guessed). I like all cupcakes, but I’m a big fan of anything coconut, carrot cake or peanut butter infused. I had an irish cream cupcake for St. Patty’s Day that was to die for. Had Bailey’s in it and everything!

    Fav way to sweat is running. Fav cupcake would be any one that I’ve made so I know I’m not allergic to any ingredients- last kind I made were plain vanilla, but so good made from scratch.

    Lately I have been more into 5K so I would sweat away on a 5k. And my favorite cupcake in the whole world is Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting. YUMMMM!!!!!

    My favorite way to #sweatpink is running through my neighborhood. I’ve also competed in races wearing pink armbands in honor of my mom, a breast cancer survivor. I’m not very fast either…I think I’ve only broken the 10 m/mi pace in one race ever. So I’m inspired by other runners who do it to be happy and healthy, not just because we are natural speed demons! Oh, my fav CC flavor is chocolate…my fav anything is chocolate =)
